Triumph sales in India starts from 2013
Triumph Motors starts there Indian sales from the middle of 2013.Triumph has shown 7 seven models in the 2012 Auto Expo.In the Auto Expo Triumph pavilion was very famous.Indians love big bikes.Triumph is considering India very big.Triumph has lot of plans for India.Triumph planed to enter India in 2012.But was delayed.After that Triumph India MD Mr. Ashish Joshi stepped down from the company.This was a big set back for the company.Triumph plans to Initially import the bikes.Then later when their assembly plant in Karnataka starts running.They will bring CKD units of the bikes and join them in their plant.This will help them to price the bike very aggressively.Triumph initially launched 7 models in India.They are Bonneville,Tiger 800 XC,Street triple,Daytona 675,storm and Rock III Roadster.Bonneville will be the cheapest bike from Triumph starting at RS 5.5 Lakhs.Triumph will have dealer ships at Mumbai,Delhi and Bangalore.Then later they will expand to other major cities.
