Mangalore to Delhi In a Harley Davidson

Harley Davidson is a special brand which their owners are really proud to flaunt. The cult brand can just turn the heads of the onlookers. All the Harley owners are generally the ones who are really passionate about biking. Here is a story of a man who took his Harley from Mangalore to Delhi. Ganesh Nayak is a business man from Mangalore. He really loves his bike and he will never miss an opportunity to take his bike on a long ride.

He had a business meeting in Delhi. His company offered him flight tickets but he took the road option on his Harley Davidson. Ganesh was planning for such a long road trip for some time now. Earlier Ganesh planed a road trip on his Royal Enfield 350 but sadly he could not do it that time. So he took this chance. Ganesh planed his route completely using Google Maps. His wife was a great support here.Harley Davidson issues a jacket patch for owner who completes 10,000 Kms and Ganesh was one of the first to get that in Mangalore. He started the journey on October 27 th and returned home after 15 days. That 15 days journey was the best time for him. On return journey, Ganesh took another route from Bangalore via Madurai to Kanyakumari.

Ganesh and His Harley Davidson
Ganesh Told Times of India that “There is no point in owning a Harley and keeping it in the garage. The company meet in Delhi came as a blessing in disguise to undertake the journey I had dreamed off since 2007.” Meticulous planning saw him take the Golden Quadrilateral for the better part of the journey. “That made the ride buttery smooth and I covered 870km in 12 hours”, said Ganesh. On this Journey, Ganesh came across some nice places and different cuisines which he had never tasted before. After this Trip Harley Davidson appreciated Ganesh on their Facebook page.
