Jeep Wrangler is the first Jeep Product in India
Jeep has already the plans for India.Jeep will arrive with two models Wrangler and Gran Cherokee.Jeep Wrangler is the first Jeep product to come here.Jeep Wrangler is the successor the famous World War II Jeep.Jeep Wrangler made the debut in 1987.Jeep Wrangler is now in its fourth generation which was launched in 2007.We get the current generation Wrangler.Jeep Wrangler continue to use the live axles both front and rear as with their predecessor.
Each generation of Jeep gets a new name plate along with the wrangler name.Current generation got the name plate as JK.Jeep Wrangler is one of the best off roader available in the market.Globally Jeep is available in many forms as 2 door,4 door etc.In India we get the 4 door version.Jeep Wrangler is powered by 2.8 L Common rail diesel engine which makes 197 BHP of power and 451 NM of torque.
Jeep Wrangler comes to India by CBU Route.So the pricing will be on the expensive.Also Jeep Wrangler is not very practical.Its great to go off road.But its not very practical.In future Jeep also plans to make the Local assembly.So we can expect better price than.Until then Jeep Wrangler will be a very rare product on India Roads.
